Look what I found in my garden =D

It may not me special to you, but I'm absolutely thrilled
I live near a very busy road, so most hedgehogs end up dead there, I've never seen them here!

They're SO cute

Cute pics, I love hedgehogs! Watch out for the fleas though, hedgehogs are normally riddled with them..

I know they're covered in fleas I went and moved him to another part of the garden since I couldn't close the gate lol.

My friend had an albino hedgehog as a pet, I loved him! I think I would keep a pet hedgehog if I had the space, but my whole room is filled with mice and spiders...

Our pet hedgehogs are the African Pygmy variety and have very different living requirements than these which are the European variety.

That said, I have to say how cool! I too love hedgehogs and am amazed that they are not dangerous to touch in the wild. They look very calm and relaxed around you!! Thanks for sharing the pictures. Are you going to keep them in your yard or??

No I don't feel I should keep him here, my garden consists of brick, tiles and more brick. If she didn't already found herself a way out I will release her somewhere outside the village, away from the main road here.

What a cute one. It's good idea trying to keep him off the roads. Hedgehogs are quite usefull in the garden. They eat a lot of snails and worms
So, I hope this little guy will survive.

Too cute! I've seen them in pet stores, but have never known one up close and personal. (Although I did go to a seminar once on how to take care of a sick one!!) I heard (in the seminar) that people in England keep them in their yards as pets. Having never been to England I don't know much about their back yards, but they talked as tho they are a lot like yours.

That said, the rehabber in me says take the pictures, enjoy him for a bit then let him go back to where he belongs!!

Thanks for sharing!

Hes lovely. I rarely see them here either as its quite busy. I've only seen one in 2 years, as my cat disappeared up the street after him. Needless to say I ran and brought my naughty kitty home! Thanks for sharing
