Smile Res

Found this fella out walking today. It was pretty big, one of the largest I have seen in a while.

I know how much everyone enjoys spiders...

No, of course not. Taking animals from the wild is cruel.

I like to photograph nature, not steal from it.

Good answer, Amber! Is that a red-earred slider? Couldn't see its ears in the pic. My daughter is crazy about turtles - she has two sliders and one that's a Russian something (I think).

Yes, the spider is creepy. Have you ever seen a banana spider? I was video-taping some birds in an aviary one day and almost ran into one. It freaked me out! I've got it on video but not a still picture. Big yellow fellow. (Shudder)

I can only see the pics of the turtle, the other one's aren't working, but that's okay with me, spiders make me ill, lol. That turtle looks really cool, how big was he? You get so many neat wildlife pics, where do you live?

Thanks everyone. I think he was a red ear slider, wouldn't come out of his shell for me to look, lol.

I would say he was at least 10 inches long Im not too good with measurments though.

Nikko, I live on 85 acres in Indiana.

He was pretty scared, he didn't come out of his shell at all! I did have my dogs with me though, so I didn't expect him too.
