Wrong soft-heart to be asking another one!!
I found a baby tee-tiny lizard on my kitchen counter the other night. I tried to capture it under a dixie cup and accidentally cut its tail off. ARGHHHH!!!! It fell to the floor and my Mom was yelling "Stomp it!" My Dad was going to step on it and I was yelling just as loudly No, No, just put it outside!
Bubba has a history of rescuing lizards from our foyer (they crawl under the front door) and the pool (up on the thing that sweeps the pool).
So of course I think you did the right thing and I hope the little feller got out!
(BTW, my daughter told me that they are anoles and not lizards - I've never bothered to look it up.)
Good work, Becki! Even lizards deserve to live!
