Wildlife Rehab

For years now my family and I have been helping out injured and orphaned wildlife that we found around our house, from rabbits to robins, turtles, snakes, finches, sparrows, starlings, and squirrels. It is so much fun to give these animals another chance, so I'm planning on getting a permit and helping local orphaned wildlife from all around the area.

Are there any other wildlife rehabilitators here? I'd love to get some advise on how to begin.

Thanks in advance! : )

Thanks! We're going to look into getting it during the winter, since there aren't really any orphaned animals at this time of year and far less injuries. Where we live, its hard to get a permit to work with carnivores because of rabies concerns, so probably I'll be starting with birds, rabbits, squirrels, ect.
