degu's made headlines!

It just goes to prove that people don't know alot about degu's! i was watching the ten o'clock local news last night and one of the head lines was 'animal shelter overloaded with degu's' except the newsreader called them dengus!!!
I wish i knew where the shelter was though, i would like to help out there.

Can't people just ask one question on how to spell that if they're going to do that? lol. Maybe you can call them to find out where it is or something?

If I was over there, I'd help out too. Good luck!!! Did it say why they were overloaded? Was it because they don't know how to sex them? Cause degus can be difficult to sex.

Have you found out where the animal shelter is yet? Poor little degus, I wish people would be responsible pet owners!

Thats the shame of things like xmas the amount of animals that are homeless and the homes are over crowded. I'd love to go and take them all home

I would love to help also, if only I wasn't in New York. Degus can be hard to sex...

Degus are very easy to sex even at a young age.
Have you found out where the shelter was located?

I asume you have not found out where the shelter is based yet.

It is a shame that so many animals need rehoming!!!!

I rehomed 3 Degus, as they were not getting the attention required
