Probably going to adopt an adult degu from a rescue...

He's the father from Beebo and Quinny and a great, loving little degu who loves to sit on everyone's shoulder all the time, and loves human attention. No one has adopted him because he's not a baby (you know how much people love babies--it makes me worry that they'll stop loving their animals when they grow up) and I have a good home for him. I think I'll put him aside and pick him up probably in June, as they're in Alberta and I'm in Saskatchewan, and they have an open house on June 24th.

Yes, I really will. Maybe he'll be happy to live with his babies. If not, of course, we have lots of cages that are empty.

Aw, bless him. It's true what you say about babies, my three are two years old and because of this they were in rescue ages.

He looks a real cutie xx

I think most adult degus are more loveable if they've been socialized before....My babies, Beebo and Quinny, speak and jump at me until I put my hand in. I don't have to "scoop" them up anymore...They climb on my hand willingly.
