I found this ad:

"Michael Robles
Phoenix, Arizona
Phone number: 602 278-9328 or 602 423-1753
E-mail: [email protected]

Michael Robles is a small breeder that has two breeding males and two breeding females

The babies are well socialized with people, and have lots of handling before they leave their parents. E-mail and they can send pictures while they play and eat. They love them, they are litter box trained, they run around the home they get along with their puppies. They will not ship. An adoption fee applies."

And this one:

"Mary ([email protected])
Phoenix AZ
Has been a breeder in AZ for the past 8 years
Has degus for sale in Phoenix AZ. Most are 8 weeks old. If out then can put people on her degu waiting list. Also has a few babies that will be old enough in about 4 weeks."

They might be really old but it doesn't hurt to ask. You could look on Petfinder, too.

Yeah, they might be old...I don't know =/. Hopefully they aren't and if they are maybe the person will know someone else with degus.

It's too bad ya don't live in NY. Right now our store has a degu family .

Well, let us know how it goes . It's kind of weird that he doesn't know where they are from, though .

well, talk to the kid and ask to talk to his mom, if she's any kind of parent she should be able to tell you where she took her son to buy the degus.

I bought a boy and a girls
they look different than mine
thier tails are shorter fatter and much nicer looking
the rest of them look the same
they told me they bought the parents in flagstaff three years ago and these were the babies they already sold the parents
I didn't get to see the mum and dad
but they all looked healthy
I gave them a bath when i got home cause i didn't like the way they smelled
they are much tamer than mine are
