Becoming a first time gerbil mommy continues: Gerbil mommy!!

Yay!!
Yesterday I picked up 3 boys! They're agouti, dove and black! The agouti will hopefully be going to a friend who has 1 gerbil, but these 3 guys are 12 weeks old so I hope they'll be alright. If not, the agouti stays with me aswell!
I've given them Mongolian names; the dove is named Mungentuya, which means "Silver ray". The black one is called Batkhuyag ("Strong warrior") and if the agouti stays he will be named Batzorig, "Strong and courageous".

Now for some photo's! Enjoy!

Batkhuyag!

Mungetuya and Batkhuyag figured out the most charming way to clean eachother..

They are so cute! I do love that last picture. The one on the bottom looks so relaxed. It's as though he's saying, "ahh, this is the life."

You submit 2 pics, usually one front, one side.. Then judges well, judge them... On the gerbilforum my boy Riddick won 1st place in the CP class

Re: New Gerbil Boys!

Hello there!
WOW, they are sooo cute!! I love all types of gerbils but am am so biased when it comes to Agoutis as I have two agouti boys and they are just my favorites..so beautiful! What sweet pictures! It is really nice that you picked Mongolian names for them, what a great way to honor their Mongolian heritage!

All three are so beautiful, congrats on your new kids! They look happy.

New Baby Mice!

My pink-eyed white mouse just gave birth to 12+ pinkies!
The daddy is acting kind of weird, though...he keeps bringing some of the babies up to the "loft" and curling up with them. Will he hurt them?
