Betsey :)

so yesterday, i got betsey. a beautiful robo dwarf hamster.
she's not any older than 6 months.
she's friendly, and completely used to me and not afraid of my anymore.
however, because she's so tiny, i'm not sure if she can reach her water bottle.
it came with the cage so i can't put it anywhere other then the spot made for it.
it's not the kind you put on the wires, it hangs from the top so i can't adjust it. i'm afraid she'll get dehydrated, i haven't seen her drink at all in the past 2 days.
so i take the water bottle down and offer it to her like a baby. i don't know what else to do. help?

If you have a wire cage the thats an easy fix. You can buy bottles that have a piece of wire with them and the ends hook around the bar either side of the bottle. Or you could put a brick or block under the bottle and they can stand on it, it also helps with keeping their nails short too. She could have been drinking when you werent looking, if you only got her yesterday you cant have known shes not been drinking for two days. Oh and congrats!
