Cleaning Day for the Gerbs

Well it was cleaning out day and I figured it was time for some more pictures. I didnt put as many shavings in today, I like to vary their habitats to keep them stimulated.

The Alfster

You can see his lump on this one.

Wondering where the toys have gone. The other boy was in no mood for sitting still for photos ha ha.

Bill and Teds newly cleaned tank

Alfies clean tank.

Also, does anyone here use chinchila sand baths for their Gerbs and does it help with their coat?

Great pics

You may want to add more substrate to that tank though becasue gerbils love to dig and make tunnels

I use chinchilla sand for my hamsters, if it helps. Some of them roll around in it and bath, and the others just love digging in it

Your gerbils are very cute. Whats wrong with Alfster with the bump? I've always heard that they love Chinchilla sand to roll around in every now and then to keep their coat healthy. How old are they? Im planning on getting Gerbils soon so I always like to know more things about other peoples. Have Fun!
