Gerbil colours

Hi there, i'm quite new to gerbils and wondered if anyone could help me with the colours of my three boys

Rommel is pretty obviously black:

Not sure what colour Winston is:

or Monty

Here he is again on the left.

I can't help you with colors but I just want to say they sure are cute!

Very cute guys!!!

I'd say that Monty is either lilac or sapphire (he has ruby eyes, right?) and Winston is Siamese. Either way, you can check gerbil colors here:

Both Monty and Winston have a really dark red, almost ruby coloured eyes.

I was told by a friend that Monty is a dove mottled, is that right? I will check out the link - thanks!!

I just got the boys a deeper cage, so they now have loads of digging room!

He looks kinda dark to me for a dove. Dove's white spots can almost be confused with the grey color.. that's why I thought Sapphire or Lilac...

Are their eyes the same shade of red? or does Monty's eyes look more reddish than Winston's? I still think that Winston is a siamese... which should have black eyes with a red glow to the light.

If they both have dark eyes but a red hint to them, then I think they are both Siamese, just the ligther one is lighter not just from spotting but b/c he looks pretty young. Give him a month and see what colour he changes too.
