Housing Pics

Hey, just had to rehouse my Syrian Hamster sid as he has caused a big cut on his nose from chewing the bars on his cage too much. He has been transfered to a bigger glass tank, where he seems much happier. I was just wondering where everyone else houses their hamsters. Heres a pic of his new tank. If you look you can see him leaning up against the glass in the back of the tank.

Cool! He looks a bit similar to my hamster, Proteus.

I have pics of examples of how I house my rodents here:

I house them all in tanks

I have posted links to my habitat photos many times. I am sure you can find them with a Search.

Please change your font size and color; it is very hard to read.

Look like you have one happy Hammy there!

Here are a couple of mine -

Ya there gerbils, not hamster
I love aquariums, i think they are the best housing for hamster/gerbils so much safer, easier to clean, adn you can see htey so much better.
I'm an avid 'gerbil watcher' LOL

It's taken me a long time to get a 'rodent' room.
And yes those are ALL gerbils ... lol and that's half the room

lol, holy crud. Those sure are a lot of gerbils! I have 8 gerbils and have them spread out between only 2 cages. lol, call me cruel. Nah, they're in good condition. Each cage is pretty big too, plenty of room... it's not like I'm just cramming them in XD I split the cages by gender. 8 gerbils is enough for me x__x I'll have to post up some more pics soon...

It dosn't seem that much to me, some of my friend have more, in the 20's or 30's LOL.
But if I could I would keep under 10 though, I would rather be able to give everyone more one on one time.
My set-up has changed since those pictures were last taken.

I had a spare bedroom that housed all my animals. It had a sliding door that was hard to open and close because there was carpet installed, so I had to keep the door open and pretty much barracade it to keep the dogs out. They got a little bit too excited when they saw the critters inside (especially the chinchillas) that room reminds me of my old one.
