Smile I couldn't help it. She was so beautiful!

Well, welcoming a new female gerbil to my growing zoo. I'll get pictures soon. She's very beautiful, and quite small. She has creamy blond fur that's pretty long, and it's very silky. She has reddish eyes, too. I don't know exactly how old she is, but I'm thinking only a few months or so. Not much. She's also afraid of watermelon...For now.

Afraid of watermelon? Like the fruit? Or is that the name of another pet?

The fruit. I gave Danny a piece and he cmpletely destroyed it. Sabriel, as I named her, closed her eyes into tiny slits. I think she had a bite since then, though.

Sadly, today we had to bring her back and replace her with a little male. She was not getting along or eating. I just figured she was happier back at home. Artemis (we named him that because it seemed silly for such a funny little guy) is much more active, adventurous, and he eats and drinks. I hope the little girl is okay. I'll definitely ask about her. She seemed tired and lethargic. Artemis is very pretty--He's cream and white colored...But I definitely miss my little girl.
