Introducing Ming and Genji

Yup... yesterday I didn't come only with a rattie home... but also with a pair of hamsters... My friend that works at the petstore was showing me what they had, and he said, "I have this for you" and there in a cage were a pair of chinese hamster. They were with the campbells, and he has no idea how the arrived there... so he separated them for me. Plus, I got them at half the price too! Whoo for me!!!! Here are pics of them:

This is Genji:

This is Ming:

And both of them together:

They are a bit skittish, and man are the fast!!! Mouse-fast! That's very very fast for a hamster! lol

Cute! Can you even hold them without them wiggling?

They are cute too. The chinese ones are very fast, and if I recall correctly, they are good jumpers too. I used to go to school with a girl who had one.

No, I haven't been bitten yet, and so far they see less prone to bite than the russian dwarves... Genji just stays far away from my hand, Ming smells me and lets me scratch his head and back, but doesn't let me pick up. Russian dwarfs usually flip on their back and menace you with their claws and teeth, and you'll get bitten if you get too close. These guys aren't tame yet, but they are trying to bite me all the time.
