panda bear hamster

I have had a teddy bear hamster in the past. I have had a dwarf hamster that past on a year ago. I was wondering how big a panda bear hamster gets and the temperament of one? The local pet shops carry them often but only tell how long they live. Thank you in advance on any help I receive.

They don't get substantially bigger than teddy bear hamsters. Their temperment is roughly the same too.

Teddy bear hamster and Panda Bear are just pet store names for syrians. They are all the same. Teddy bears just have longer hair, and pandas have markings that make it look like a panda. So, the size would be the same and temperament...well, it varies from hamster to hamster.

My niece just lost her dwarf hamster after 4 years (yes the poor little creature just kept on fighting and lived to a ripe old age of 4) She now has a "panda" and he is the cutest little thing. He's quite larger than his predacessor but very sweet. From my experience with hamsters it all really depends on the hamster. I had my little Porkchop and he was a doll but have been bitten by many others.

Thumbs up Panda Bear Hamsters

I have one and he is about the size of a common hamster, they are amazing he has never bitten me and he is socaila dn he is about three years so they live long with good care. I highly recommend this breed of hamster. Also a boy, they are calmer then the girls.

Panda Bears are a common hamster. The "panda" color is simply just that, just a color form that was specially bred into them. Also, this is an old thread..... >.>
