Such great pictures!! I love them all but am very partial to Rupert. I must know what you feed, though. My guys are all pretty slender- despite all the fat and protien I add in their mix.

Thank you for the link. It is a little similar to what I feed- which is a spiced-up storebought mix- though I see there are more raw grains and seeds. Now I will have to try to find where to buy all that stuff!

I altered it a little bit from what it says on the site.. My newer blend has a bit less millet (1.5 parts instead of 2.5) and I added in a bit more of the raw grains...

Mine are always active and on the go, but that doesn't mean I can't hold them or pick them up. Yes, I did have them outside for a photo-shoot, the natural sunlight shows their colors as they are.

Well, most of mine I have been handling since they were hours old, and then those that I received as adults came from good lines and were handled enough to be tame. The few adults I kept as rescues or from pet stores were a bit skittish at first, but eventually warmed up to human attention.

Wow you have a lot of critters. They must keep you very busy. One day I would love to have a gerbil or hamster (or two). They are all so cute.

Yeah.. I do have quite a few, but they're pretty easy to care for... They do keep me busy though, lol..
