Do they sleep at all????

Man,since I had Apolla,I have NOT seen her sleep at all yet.She is constantly awake.Everytime I go in the room, she is sitting there, wide awake.

I have her in my bedroom and last night I didn't get much sleep, because of my bad, infected tooth and so I would wake up every hour and she was always awake!!!

I literally have not seen her sleep since I got her.
This cannot be good. How often should she be sleeping?
See my rats, mice and hammie sleep in the day...well the rats and mice are sometimes awake in the day wanting my attention, but at least they sleep!

Apolla is eating and drinking and everything she should be doing, except sleeping!

She's probably just getting used to a new environment, but I don't know anything about piggies

It may seem that way..lol!
Did you know that gpiggies can sleep with thier eyes open when they want to? Really they can!
They are prey animals so they naturally use that as a defense if they feel they need to,....to look like they are never asleep, always awake to see whats around them.
Piggies do sleep. Sometimes they just dont sleep very long or deeply....just in case. Remember, being a prey animal they always are ready to run and squeal.

Thanks!
She must be sleeping, but as soon as she hears me,she is wide awake!!

Greyhounds are known for sleeping with their eyes open as well.

Guinea pigs nap on and off during the day and night, and most will sleep with their eyes open, or underneath a pigloo if possible.
