Good cage?

Well we have to wait to get the Piggies on Wedsnday so my mom can buy the things we need for them since she gets her check on Wedsnday. Anyway, she told me to look for starter cages and I found one that looks reasonable. This is a temporary cage and I just wanted to know is this good?

Looks a bit small from the picture. If I was you I would just go ahead and build a cage from cubes.

Where can I get these cubes? The only petstore near me is PetSmart, and Best Pet, but at Best Pet I had an incident there.

Edit; Here's another I came across.

I found the ones I have (I use to have a rabbit) at Wal-Mart, you have to look hard for them though (or at least I did). You could also find them at home places and anywhere that sells storage stuff.

Thanks. My mom is gonna end up going to best pets and just get a big rabbit cage, like Sunny Bunny has, its very large to where 2 guineas can fit in there x]. I mean, if a big himalayan rabbit can fit then 2 guineas can!

Actually there's not currently a single pet store cage on the market that I've found that meets the bare minimum of 7.5 square feet for a pair of piggies. Most bunny cages are grossly undersized as well, maybe you could build Sunny Bunny a big cube condo and then build the pig cage on top and they could both enjoy more room? (Incidentally, both of the cages pictured are absolutely tiny; one doesn't even meet the bare minimum specifications for a single rat, which is easily half the size of a guinea pig!)

Cage manufacturers seem less and less concerned about the happiness of the animals involved and more and more determined to make a quick buck on uneducated owners.
