Guinea pig madness

So if you all remember, I had a little guy a while back who was a sweet boy named Twix. Twix had died unexpectadly and I was heartbroken as I love all animals and he had and always will have a place in my heart. It hurts loosing an animal but I believe there is always a reason for it. I missed him badly, I still do but it seems that with his death I found a new beginning in the pig world. I had to go to Indianapolis Indiana to take my friends purse to her because she had forgot it at our house.

Well they had 4, momma, daddy, and babies. The petstore had told them that the pigs were both males, turns out, they weren't. Long story short the babies came along. Now they belong to her mother-inlaw and she is having bad health problems right now. They were her babies and the rest of the family knows nothing about them. I instantly fell in love, these guys are aby/paruvian and so adorable. Her mother-inlaw told me that if I promised to treat them right and take good care of them, I could have them. So here we were loading up this HUGE cage (it was **** making it fit.) and getting the pigs in a carrier for the 3 hour drive home.

They did good. My aunt is taking Sammy the male and I am keeping the 3 girls. I promised their mother-inlaw that these babies would be taken care of and I am making sure they are. My aunt was wanting a pig bad so I gave her the male to make sure we have no more babies, All for pigs are doing great and I am so excited. They were popcorning around their cage and squeeking today and it made my heart warm. I absolutely love them. They're all calico colored and so floofy!

With all these animals I have you must be wondering by now how I am doing it beings I'm in town and don't have a lot of room. Well I will post the news here since I am already typing and have a lot running through my mind! we are moving to michigan, to a farm! I cannot wait, it is a big place and on 10 acres! A friend of ours is letting us buy the house from them, I think that I will really enjoy it out there!...anyhow I guess that's all for now! Thanks for listening!

Also, make sure the males had been separated at 3 weeks or age, or all three of the girls could be pregnant.

There was only one male, the daddy, both babies are girls. They're acording to my vet only about 2 weeks...but they've got such long hair already!!!!!! I was amazed!
