Help with piggie bonding!

I have had my piggie about a month now and he still seems so scared, has any one got any tips on piggie bonding?

its just gonna take time...be patient...and try to have veggies on hand whenever u take him out for play time...feed him the veggies while your holding him and petting him. Brush your piggie too while he is in your lap and talk to him gently. Time and patience...dont worry..he will come to love you. Guinnea pigs can be tough but mostly it's spending lots and lots of quality time together.

Ditto on what Luvnature said. Guinea pigs are prey animals, its instinct to run when a big, scary human is trying to pick them up. It will take a lot of time and patience, but eventually your pig will trust you.

Well. I have two guinea pigs and they are both very differant. My baby boy is alot less shy and will come out with lots of veggies. My baby girl will only feel comfortable if you dont look at her to much. I have had my guinea pigs for awhile though. It will take time! But soon enough they will warm up to you.

My pets!
