good luck

-when i was in 4H my dad told me i couldn't enter any animals because with them all together you don't know how the other people care for theirs and they could get sick and bring it back to the farm/house and get the other animals sick

I Don't know how big of a problem it is with guinea pigs but you may want to take it into consideration

Kendalle, that's an excellent observation, but one that I've given up making since people tend to "poo-poo" it. Guinea pigs are suspectible to a variety of parasites and fungi (which are annoying, but not typically dangerous), as well as bacterial issues which can be very dangerous.

4-H is a children's activity type club, sort of like the girl scouts. They have animal showing competitions, and many of them advocate children breeding animals as "projects". Our area has become pretty flooded with all the 4-H "project" bunnies.

Oh...huh.I never heard of them before.I don't think they have those around here.I don't like the fact that they advocate children breeding animals!
