need help deciding

We recently got a female guinea pig from a pet shop (we didn't know any better) and of course she was pregnant. No big deal, after lots of research we found out that it would be better for her to have a playmate anyway. Well about 3 wks ago she had 2 babies. I just recently built them a C&C cage and they are happy. Here's the problem. I took them to the vet this week and found out that they were both boys. I thought I could just have them neutered and we'd be OK, but space issues will make it a little difficult for us to separate them from mom for several months. My question is, would it be better to keep the 2 males and have them neutered, or try to find them a home and get another female friend for our little Lucy. Will having 2 males with one female be a problem. I would prefer to have just 2 pigs, no matter the sex, but want to do what is best for Lucy. I'm so confused on what to do.

2 males are rarely going to coexist peacefully with one female, and if they do, they need space above and beyond what "normal" 3 pigs would need. Seperate the males now, as they're coming into sexual maturity, and she'll be pregnant again before you can decide.

You could neuter one to leave with her and rehome the other to another friend.

Thanks Jenni. I had a feeling that would be the answer. It breaks my heart to have to rehome them and so far I haven't been able to find anyone to take both of them, and I would rather not separate them. The longer it goes, the more attached we'll get and I just don't have the space to go any bigger with my cage.

Update

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been on in a while, but things got pretty crazy in our house for a while. Anyway, I found a friend to take my 2 male babies. She already came and got them and we began our search for another female. NOT EASY. The state of Louisiana has no listed guinea pig rescues, but I found one. There is a local company called Zoo-Zoom, the Little Zoo on Wheels that rescues and adopts out exotic animals. After several e-mails and phone calls, we picked up our new baby yesterday. Hurray.....right.......wrong. Today I realized, it's a boy. My daughter is devastated. But all is not lost, I called Zoo-Zoom and they are going to happily exchange it for me. I will double-check the sex before I leave. As soon as the quarantine period is over and I have introduced them, I will take pics and post them.
