Push them really hard together.
I also use the cable ties just to make sure the grids stay together.

Great cage! It looks really good.

I would suggest some hidey houses placed in different spots around the cage. Upside down shoe boxes work well, just cut a couple doors. He will feel more secure if he can run around but hide when he feels scared.

i think i got them just took a while. i should cable tie the topclosed so my rats dont go in there :S

the yellow thing is his hiddy house, it has a top, i took it off so he could be in the picture too. and the bag, and the tube. he fits in em all. i have another box too that he might get. last time i gave it to him he freaked out about the sound it made on his toes

Yeah, the connectors do suck, I never use the darn things. I always just use cable ties.

aw thanks he has bedding, im going to get him some fleese for his hut i think although i dont want it to get too hot when it gets a touch warmer out.

i dont think hes been out in his pen yet, its been 3 1/2 hours, hes still nervous to be out when im in the room so i think i am going to move him to the living room in a week or two when i get rid of a chair in our living room
