I just got two female guinea pigs about a week ago. They seem to be getting along great! I've had a guinea pig when I was younger so I know how to care of them.
Anyways, when I give them floor time, I put them on a flat towel on the ground. They're fenced in, and I give them chew toys to play with (wood sticks and salt blocks). But my one guinea pig has started to bite the towel like shes grazing almost. She bites and pulls the towl threads up.
I've tried to put some hay in there for her to eat and sometimes it diverts her, but she will still do it. I thought she might be bored but her friend is running around and there are toys and chew things in there too.
She has also started to nibble my hand when I pick her up and hold her... is there a spray I could use to deter her inappropriate chewing?
I believe she is around 4 weeks old, and he friend is 5 weeks.
ANY INFO WOULD BE AWESOME! THANKS!
