Run out of both at the same time!

Aggh! So, today my dad forgot to get GP food when he went shopping (I normally get it myself but I and had to babysit my ill brother) I only found out when I went to feed them just now. I also do not have any veggies left! I have given them extra hay for now and some banana and a little bit of apple. My question is should I feed hamster food or leave them without? I know it is not very suitable but since I cant give them much fruit it seems like the best option

I'm not necessarily sure about gp's nutritional needs, so I won't suggest anything about food. But, if you can afford it, the next time you go and get food, get a little extra, so you won't run out. Maybe not alot more veggies, though, they get old kinda quick.

You put a baby in a crib with an apple and a rabbit. If it eats the rabbit and plays with the apple, I'll buy you a new car.

I would say hay is fine for now just besure to pick up some veggies and more food soon, but I know nothing about guinea pigs. A more knowledgeable member should come along soon.

Hay is just fine. You definitely do not want to feed hamster food. Hay is supposed to be the staple of their diet, anyways, not pellets.

Thanks all. I know they need unlimited hay as that is their main food but they are only babies, so should also have unlimited pellet. I just put extra hay in before I went to bed
