Question tim. hay Vs. grass

hey guys!

How's it goin'......?

I was wondering- should the hay be kept availible to Hagrid at all times? Even tho he's somehow come to like fresh grass more?..he eats it like theres no tomorrow, but when offered the hay, he just nibbles it then walks off..
I would imagine they can develope favorite kinds, but one always hears timothy hay ''pushed'' in the piggie world, so...was just curious..

and, how long did it take you all to tame your pigs? Everytime we go to pet him near his toosh he seems to get upset and will mouth us and/or jump and flail about the cage...

my luck we got the "loaner" haha.......

thanks

~beth

Piggies are known not to like their bums touched. That is a personal area and should be treated as such. LOL

If you can offer him grass all day long like you would hay then I say go for it. My pigs eat grass hay from the feed store instead of timothy. They will gobble the grass hay down and not go near the timmy hay now.

Inside me lives a skinny woman crying to get out. But I can usually shut her up with cookies.
