Ahh, come on everyone, I need your help!

Well, I currently do not have any ratties and have not had any for about two years or so. The reason is because 1) I got VERY busy with school and just did not have the time 2) I had three ratties and they all died around the same time due to old age and it was very hard to take. (RIP magic, moment, and melany )
Well, now school has been going great and I have been able to spend a lot of time with my current babies (hamster, and doggies) and I now have the money to afford it. Well, enough money to afford it
Anyways, to the point, all of you here have been rude to me by showing me all of your lovely ratties and I can't take it! I can not stand to see all of you be so cruel to flaunt your adorable ratties to me and for me to not have any cuties to cuddle (no offense kirby )
Well, I was looking on petfinder just because I can't fight the temptation, and ran across the cutest pair of ratties! I saw that they live where I do and need a home. I want to get them so badly! I think I am going to email the lady and see about getting them. I am so excited and nervous. It is just hard for me because I know that they do not live forever and it is so hard to see one of them pass. So...now here is my question, should I get them? Come on guys, help out a fellow PTer!

Well for sure with all of the love and excitement and joy the rats give us, they are awfully short lived and wound us badly when they go. We lost our heart rat, Inky, on 2/7. We were finally able to bury her on Sunday (the grass finally started popping up from the snow). Even after a month of healing, we were all bawling again. Her sis has a mam tumor and we know her time is short So we are bracing for that.

Having said that, we have two healthy females (albeit bitey, naughty ones) and five new boys. As short as their lives are they give us so much joy in that time and knowing that I still want them in our lives. Plainly you feel the same way.

So I say get those ratties. Love them and play with them and enjoy their lives while you have them.

Never a good question to ask me Rescues who need homes? Caring person who wants them and will take good care of them. Where's the question?? Go for it
