I'm thinking of getting that one (Ruud) for my rats & the other one for my mice.I think my other post was mis-read.I think it's a big cage just to allow 4 mice =P

Thats the cage I was gonna get,but in the end I went with a chinchilla cage...because it was similar to the ratty cages, but cheaper! I still wanna order that one eventually.

That cage is a 690 and a 695 stacked on top of each other. (don't quote me on that but if you look on the site you can see)

The RUUD was a choice for me but for my birthday my boyfriend took me out and bought me the cage I have now. I couldn't be happier. All I do is wipe down the shelves every few days and it comes clean. I heard with martins is that the pee builds up and it's hard to clean.

On a side note..I don't like the way they look but thats just me.

I realize it's a little OT, but what kind of cage do you have Missy?

WhiskersNTails - what a gorgeous setup you had there.
The Ruud cage looks even bigger & much better than even I thought it would How many rats did you house in it?
I only have two (yet)

At that point there were 5 I believe but I've had up to 11 I believe when I had a bunch of rescues.

And Thanx

I have the RUUD (its a R680 on a R695), 1 R-695, 4 R-680's and an R-660...

Here's my RUUD from a couple of months ago

My preferred cage now is 2 stacked R-680's joined together using the middle wire level I bought from Martins. Biiiig doors, lots of room for toys and hammies
