Baby wild mouse itching eye

My baby wild mouse that I found is itching his eye. I noticed theres red in there, and I wiped out some watery redish stuff. It's not straight up blood, but it's watery. How do I cure it? Even if he's blind in one eye i'd like to alleviate the pain or itching or whatever it is.

I would take him to the vet, it sounds like he has scratched it, if its itching it may also be infected, if he doesnt get treated not only may he go blind in that eye, he may also lose it

Is there anything that I can do at home? I don't have much money and this lil guy kinda just happened to show up lol. His eye looks cloudy and ive wiped the watery stuff away. It looks like he may have a tiny tear on it but he doesn't seem effected by it nor does he ever itch it except that one time. it isnt swollen and pus isnt forming in it.

All I can reccomend is keep it clean by wiping his eye with a warm cloth about twice a day, as long as it doesnt get infected it should heal. I would also start saving for vet bills and stuff, he may have problems in the future.
