I have one of these cages, well two actually! The seller is awesome (if you ordered it from Cage World ebay) My rats actually like the perches, but it's a matter of opinion. Just a word of advice though, the slide out tray sucks! So I put it inside the cage while I was putting it together, my boys kept getting their legs caught in the small bar spacing at the bottom, even after I covered it with Linolium (sp?) tiles, so when I got the second one, I put the tray inside the cage, and I just take all the boys out, and wipe it down really well with hot soapy water, and commercial cage cleaner before putting the bedding in. I would also order a seed gaurd...you'll need it! Just be careful, Stinker learned to open the doors, and he would let the rest of his pals out too!!!

Congrats though!

Thanks for the advice I will do that . Dont want my boys escaping or getting hurt. I will have to find a way to lock the doors then.

I had extra cage clips from Martin's and permanently closed them with those. But you may be able to use zip ties, or crafting wire to do it!

Here are some of my Boys in that cage....

I think you are in the wrong place buddy.
You are the weirdest cat I ever seen.
Now matter how big or small wierd or normal we or animals may be we can learn to love and get along and love is what makes it all worth wild. Becuase Beautie is in the eye of the beholder an no one is ugly or more prettyer then anything eals we are all equal. There are some ugly people and things but that is becuase man kind makes them this way do to thier actions.
