so cuuuute!
well without full body shot it's hard to tell the markings if he doesn't have spots anywhere else but what's on his face, he's a masked rat, I think... but others will know better!

Nice cage! Did you choose a name for your new little ratty yet?

You should come and build me one!
I am not creative or handy enough to build my own.

LMAO I live in Kane! So don't tell me about living in the middle of Nowhere!

On March 20th, there is a Small Pet Expo at the Greater Reading Expo Center, admission is $3, there will be a Rat Show, pets are welcome, bring at your own risk though.
On May 1st is Rodent Fest at Leesport Farmers Market, it's an adoption/show/meet & greet event. Admission is free to the public, and is from 10am until 6pm, sponsored by MD Rodent Club. This event will be held again in October.

I know where Lebanon is, I used to live in Pottstown! I miss it! But I have a show entry for RF so I'll be attending!

Happy Birthday Staraven Mini!

Here are directions from Lebanon to Leesport, and there is a great meet up (www.meetup.com) the group is Pet Rat Lovers in Reading PA, run by my gal pal Tara of Rattie Express Rattery & Rescue. There are also alot of really great rattery's near you, Ember of Passion, Brit is working on a Dwarf Rat line, Paper Heart Rattery, my mentor & Friend, Rats of Reading PA, The Rat Pack Rattery in Philly, and one in NYC Big Apple Rattery, another Tara. So if you would ever have any questions, they're all really sweet and willing to help!

RF is a really awesome event, I can promise you that not a single person there will look at you like you've grown a second head because you have rats as pets! But be warned, you won't be able to leave without a rat (or three) trust me! I also think that Have A Heart will be there, and hopefully Martin's cages.

I cant wait ive been to all kinds of events comic-cons, syfi fanticy conventions, fairy festivals, farm shows, dog shows, but never a small animal expo. I always thought i was just weird likeing rats so much. Ever since my older brother gave me his boa when he moved out and got married in less then a week i was hooked on rats. Bought the first feeder to give him and just couldnt do it. gave the snake to my friend and keep "Casper" the feeder rat. LOL

I so want to go I am not ruleing it out but I may attend the later one. I live in Bum f eygypt. in Emporium PA and lessport is 4 hr from me. I so want to go and meet a lot of people in person one in pertiqular I think she is just amazing.
I have been debating weather to get the entry form and fill it out if I go I could always take it with me and show up early. I have heard of were you are from but never been their. I wish they would have rodent fest or rodent exspose closer to here. I have talked to some people but that cant travel that far to help me and its hard to find people in my area that can help or basicly stick it and dont cancel the last min on the day 5 mins before anything starts.
I have been working on getting something even if its a small pet exspose here to help bost others intrest and edgucate them on rats and other rodents and get them interested in Rodent Fest. But some things take a lot more time.
I love your cages they are so cool neat idea how you put them together. Oh that is so cute you kept the feeder rat as a pet insted. You are deffenly his hero. I have been to exspose they have at local fairs around her but nothing to write home about. I would love to go to a star wars or star trek or True Blood/ Vampire convencion or something like that.
Vanilla I wish you lived closer so you could go I know you would love them. I have never been to one, but have seen pictures and herd stories and anything with rats you know will be fun. Maybe you could come to the one in october? I know it would be a long travel but worth it.

I think you are in the wrong place buddy.
You are the weirdest cat I ever seen.
Now matter how big or small wierd or normal we or animals may be we can learn to love and get along and love is what makes it all worth wild. Becuase Beautie is in the eye of the beholder an no one is ugly or more prettyer then anything eals we are all equal. There are some ugly people and things but that is becuase man kind makes them this way do to thier actions.
