Question Can female rats go into heat when they're pregnant?

I was just wondering, because I'm thinking my new rat is pregnant, but today she's in heat. So if pregnant rats can't go into heat I'll for sure know she's not pregnant.

Since 'going into heat' is basically ovulation I'm going to say rats don't go into heat if they are pregnant.
