Can I mix different breeds of mice

I have been thinking about getting a spiny mouse. I want to add the mouse to my fancy mice habitat they will all be female. So can I mix both kinds of mice or should I make another habitat?

You should house the spiny mice seperately. They are very territorial and would most likely attack fancy mice. Not to mention they have different diet needs.

Spiny mice are actually not very closely related to regular mice...they are believed to be closer to gerbils.

By the way, I wouldn't just get one spiny mouse since they are very social animals. It's better to have two or three of the same sex.

I agree with Stephanie! Don't house spiny mice with your fancy mice.It could result in a very bad incident!
