Given what happened with my sister's "pregnant" mouse that ended up just being fat , I wasn't going to post on this but I think my little Caraway actually may be pregnant. I got her on the 11th and not until this weekend did we notice that she had a large lump on either side of her abdomen. Friday it was larger on one side. By Saturday the other side had caught up and by Sunday they were both even larger.

A little while ago we were watching her play when my niece noticed some sort of bloody substance in the cage. She's not injured; Do mice tend to have some kind of bloody show before labor? If not, what else is it?

How big is she? Pictures?
Is she pear shaped??? Pregnant mice appear pear shaped.
Mice can have a discharge before labor.
But it could also be something else, like an infection.

At first it just looked like big lumps on either side but now she's getting more pear shaped. She's not acting any different than normal. I'll try to check for nipples and I can probably get some pictures up by Saturday night.

Caraway was not pregnant, just a little fat for a few days. I didn't see her all weekend last week and when I finally saw her again after 2 days she was back to her normal size and no evidence of babies. Perhaps she was just stealing all the food...
