This little mousey-man used to be unhandleable and aggressive with other mice before his neuter, now he's the soppiest mouse I own! I'm rubbing his tummy with my thumb in this pic.
Pet type mice tend to be smaller than show type but both are far bigger than wild mice who are teeny! Also males are generally a bit larger than females. My mice are all petshop/rescues and weigh between 29g and 60g but some show types I fostered were all over 80g!
I don't know too much about British mice,but I hear that the British mice are indeed larger then American mice and have larger ears as well.I have seen pics of British mice too and they do have larger ears.
