Do rats hipcup?

Okay, so I know rats cant burp, throw up, pass wind... but can they hipcup? I'm asking because I could almost have swarn Arthur was hipcuping after he'd eaten and while he was eating?

Thanks

BTW; my imagination is wild so it could just be that.

LOL, rats can definitely fart! I think hiccups are ok as long as he's not making any noise along with them. If there is a chirping sound then that could be a sign of respiratory illness. If it is silent then it's probably ok.

I've seen my rats do it too. I don't really worry because it goes away.

Now if it's an ongoing thing and doesn't stop then i would be worried.

Kind of reminds of when puppies hiccup...ever see that?

Thanks! It's never ongoing and I have only seen him do it once.
