Double Ear infections

I had to take 2 of my rescue females to the Vet yesterday to have them put down . They both had double ear infections. They were also suffering from recurring URI's and I felt it was the most humane thing to do .

Thanks, yes my boys are alright thankfully. 2 of the other rescues female rats that are very pregnant.....Their previous owner bought them on a whim and didn't use his common sense and realize "Hey if you put 6 females in with 3 males theres gonna be babies" And all the rats from that home have URI's and are all on meds. I am just trying to keep the mommas as healthy as possible while they are in QT.

can u treat a prego female with URI. I know that one medication cant be given to rats untill they are 4 months old. Luky I have not had a rescue prego or a planed prego who had that to treat them for URI. nock on wood. I have had older ones and rescues. But that was 2 older rescues and one did eventually pass before I could get him to the vet becuase he just keep having it as in he would be clear then breack back out. the other was just to old and had to be put down before I could take pics or set up QT place for him. and then thanks to former freinds who messed with some sick rescues I had and put them in with my males that are in the living room whille we were asleep i had to treat mine. thankfully only 1 broke out with it and is clear with no signs of another break out. They will never ever be alowed back granted there was more that they did but anyway sorry to here about that. I am glad the others are doing ok.

I think you are in the wrong place buddy.
You are the weirdest cat I ever seen.
Now matter how big or small wierd or normal we or animals may be we can learn to love and get along and love is what makes it all worth wild. Becuase Beautie is in the eye of the beholder an no one is ugly or more prettyer then anything eals we are all equal. There are some ugly people and things but that is becuase man kind makes them this way do to thier actions.
