Dwarf Rats

How big do dwarf get rats (both buck and doe) and has there been any notices of temperament change in general?
Does anyone on this forum own a dwarf?

From what I understand, it's just a genetic mutation and they act and look just like small rats.. I'm not positive on the temperaments, but I assume they are the same.

They have had issues with handleability with dwarf's but there are some breeders working on it.

No idea on longevity.

Do you have genetic dwarves or just really small rats?

To the world you are only one person, to your rat you are the World

Annie, who I just adopted (she's a retired breeder), is a genetic dwarf. The rattery specializes in them. She is full grown and has had 2 litters, but she doesn't even weigh close to 200 grams. She also has that "classic" shorter, thinner tail. She is my first dwarf ever...that's why I was asking about dwarfs before I adopted her. She's very sweet, we just need to work on her handleability a little more.
