Unhappy Finding homes for hairless rats!

I have two hairless rats. They are sisters and have been together since birth. They have been the sweetest pets, but I am moving back in with family and cannot keep them. I'm in Northern Alabama where you won't find many rat-friendly homes. I have no idea what to do with my girls. And to make matters worse, Bella has a mammary tumor. She seems to be fine, but I wonder how I'll find anyone to take her, and they need to stay together. Any suggestions on rescue organizations or any other way to find them a good home?

I would take them.I miss my hairless.

What about Petfinder? Or check around and see if there are rescues in your area?? Do any of your friends want them???

If you would really like to have them, I'd be happy to ship them to you. I just want them to have a good home with someone who knows how to take care of them! This area is just horrible for finding them a home. Even the vets' offices think I'm crazy for having rats!

I meant to tell you that I only have computer access at work, so I disappear at times. LOL Let me know if you find anything out! I appreciate your help! I haven't found anything promising yet.

good luck with finding a home for them, you could try finding a rat breeder in your area and seeing if they know anyone who rescues or could help find homes for your ratties
