Growth on Mouse's Ear

Hello everyone,
Very new here, so I apologize if I'm ignorant of the local customs.

I have a white male mouse who is at least 21 months old, and I've recently noticed a growth on his ear. I have a picture, but I'm not allowed to post it, if its not bad form, I'd be happy to type it out like this:

I can't seem to find any exotic pet veterinarians in my area, so I'm not sure where to even start. Has anyone seen a growth similar to this before?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I typed the question when I thought the image would be in the post.

The best description I could give would be like a little piece of broccoli, or something, like a stem, with a bunch of ends, it almost has fingers on it.

He doesn't seem to playing with it, and usually reacts when I touch it, but he does that when I touch his other ear, sometimes.

Welcome to the forum! I wish I had some good info for you for your mouse's ear growth but of course I am not a vet, but I still wanted to respond so you know you are welcome at the forum.

You are right in trying to find a local small animal/exotic vet for your mouse as I am sure the growth is something that you want to check on to see what it is, but sometimes I know it can be hard to find a good small animal vet, depending on where you live. Have you tried googling/internet search for a list of local vets or contacting a regular local vet who may know of a good small animal specialist that he or she can refer you to?
