I am so sorry you have to go through this. I hope you can figure out somthing. Maybe you can wear long sleeved tee-shirts along with dishwashing gloves the ones that go up your arm a good distance/

I've been wearing gloves and they do help!! however my next problem is my lungs, their furr has been scaring up my lungs... thats why I was thinking of keeping my Rex's since they don't give off their furr quite as activly. I have 4 boys and 3 girls to rehome if I keep the rex's.....

I am allergic to everything lol...mostly animals it seems...but I go and get shots every week to build up my tollerance because I wouldn't get rid of the dogs or cats...when I get scratched I get hives and the scratch gets infected so quickly...see if you can go to an allergist for help

As Jess said, could you get a hairless rat? I know that doesnt make up for having to lose yours, but it might help. Hopefully you can find a specialist and maybe they can help you! Good luck!

A hairless rat won't nessicarily be any better.Usually the allergies are from the skin or "buck grease" produced.
