Keeping your rats diet balanced, what do you add?

Okay, so this thread is for people to post what they add to their rats diet to keep them happy and healthy.
I know we all try hard, but sometimes, even me, get stuck for ideas as to what to add into their diet to make it more interesting, yet still balanced and healthy.
Also, have you made any homemade treats lately and want to share, because I'd like to know and i'm sure the rest of us would be interested to!

Right so I'll start us off;

I give my rats a fresh bowl of normal rat foods sold at the pet shop every time their bowl needs refilling, but I mix up a few of the pet shop products together to make sure they get what they want and need, I put in Rat nuggets, rat muslie and I also add a teaspoon of mouse and gerbil food in there for viarity.
I usually give mine a small bowl of organic cornflakes and I put some apple or pear in there to.
If there is any left overs from dinner, I give them some of that to, but don't get me wrong, I do check that it will be okay to give and only give small quantities.
My rats favourite treats are the occational pumpkin seed and yogart drops.

what about yours?

i give my boy his rat blocks and a 2 tbsp scoop of rat seed mix. i used to give a little dog food every 2 days but now we don't live with a dog, so that got cut out. but he still gets leftovers from dinner i.e. veggies, rice, potatoes. and if im makign meat he gets a tiny bit. his fave treats are pieces of dried bread, cheerios, bran flakes

yes dog food contains lots of protien. thats why i fed it little. too much protien irritates rat skin, but a little is good since they are omnivores

I give all my babies rat nuggets everytime the bowl is empty but i also ive bits of various frus and veggies plus cooked pasta boiled eggs rice meat (cooked chicen etc) a small bit of dog food every now and then mashed banana and various baby foods and milk soaked bread on odd occasions. I give them something extra everyday but not everything everyday!!! I like to spoil my ratties lol. They all love cornflakes and yog drops as treats!!

yeah, I do give mine little things like, egg-gosh they go MAD! lol-

I like to give them something new everyday, well, I try to lol
their other favourites so far are; potatoes, egg, banana and pancake (shh)

I give mine carrot sticks for rabbits and dog treats which I get every now and then for their teeth, which they like and is a nice treat.
