Lady and Bug (will be updating constantly)

Alrighty, it's picture time! I got the girls a HUUUUUGE new home. I honestly think they could get lost in it.

But first. Here's some adorable pics of the girls.

Here's a pic of after we built the cage, to show how huge it is:

And here's 2 pics of the new setup! (Will diagram it later)

Tadahh!

Well, as it turned out, the girls could escape from the top edges of the cage, and today I fixed it.. Wrapped a ton of wire around the two oddly wide-spaced bars and now it is escape-proof! For now..

I was just about to reply warning you of that! I had the same cage for a while and kept boys in it. They were on the small side for males but they were too fat to escape.

Alright, here's the setup, diagram'd.
1- Flavored wood chew
2- Continuous climbing/chewing rope
3- Homemade climbing rope
4- Slightly shredded toilet paper roll
5- Food bowl 1
6- Igloo house
7- Edible house-rolly thing
8- Rarely used wheel
9- Lady pretending she's in prison
10- Food bowl 2
11- Water bottle
12- Bug getting a drink.
The edible house was on the 2nd floor, but you know rats. They'll renovate without consulting first. Any suggestions? I know it's not much now, compared to others, but as a start-up, I think it's pretty good.

Thank you! I made a hammock out of socks, but I don't think they knew what it was for in fact, it was a pretty crappy one! I think I'll make one out of REAL fabric soon, not just socks.

A lot of times they don't know how to use the hammock at first. Leave it in there and they usually figure it out at some point. They are curious little creatures.

So I made the girls a better hammock than two socks stitched together. And so far, they like sleeping... Under it.
I suppose it's better than nothing?
