Lincoln Logs

I have a question for you experts.

Can I build a mouse house out of Lincoln Logs? Our are they made out of toxic stuff? You wouldn't think so since they are made for children.
Just thinking

It would be fine, but the mice could probably tear it down and wooden houses are always much stinkier because they absorb the stink. I used to use wooden ones and to control the stink you can spray it with this protecting non-toxic spray

log homes

I see what you say about the stink. I was thinking about that too. As log as they are ok I guess I'll only use them for a short time then throw the old bloks away. I was plannig on tossing them anyway, then had the thought about building a log home for the mice.

I hand stiched a cosee (sp?) tonight and the little buggers acted like it was an alien space ship they were like na I aint touchign that..... so I left it there for a while to see if they get over thier fear of the change. anywayz thanks for the input.

I made a play house for my past mice out of Legos,so I don't see the harm in using Lincoln Logs.

I would call the company and ask what they do to treat the wood. How old are the lincoln logs? I would make sure to tell the company how old they are also because products change.
