It is VERY rare for male mice to get along well.
Males are very territorial. If you see any signs of fighting, seperate them immediately, otherwise they may fight to the death.

As long as you take them out daily and give them attention, they should be fine.Male mice do quite well on their own.

Yes, they will be perfectly fine on their own as long as you play with them daily. You should definitely not keep them together--and I would also hesitate to allow them to play together. Male mice are extremely territorial, and a fight can begin in the blink of an eye...and when it does, it can be very hard to separate them. (I know this from personal experience.) As VanillaRat has stated, they will fight until one of them is killed. It's best not to risk it.

Definitely separate them. Even if they get along now, there's a high chance of them fighting later. They won't get lonely as long as you take them out to play .
