Unhappy Medicating Rats

I had two mice in qt. and they came up with lice. I was wondering if I could use liquid Invermectin on the rats topically or orally and that work. it'll be ok to use on my mice. Also what would the doasges be I can't get to a vet until next week if they are open. I just want to stay on the safe side and medicate all rodents I have...

lice are u'su'ally species specific. Is the ivermectin for the mice or was it prescribed for the rats? I wou'ld have no idea abou't dosage and actu'ally itu's not allowed according to the foru'm ru'les.

The perscription is for the mice I was told by a vet awhile back that I could use it on both mice and rats even cattle if I wanted. I got a vet to give me the dosages the awhile back.. I have anxiety and O.C.D. issues so I always double check everything . What is against the forum rules? Sorry if I mentioned something I shouldn't have. I just can't ask more than one vet what they think considering there is only one rodent and cavy vet in my area.(which is already kinda far and expensive to get to.)
