Thank you, i do love the brindles, you can get, white brindle (i bred one years ago) & black brindle, all of which i have owned over the years.

Yes he is has a slight curl in his fur, so i'd say there is rex in his lines somewhere

aaawwww. I have 2 poor brindes that i hope in the furture I can improve. I live brindels. Vinilla how come you cant get them their? If I have any that are decent in my litters your more then welcome to have one. Even if I have to do an over night delvery to you I will. I just need to get another care kit like i had before were it caried up to 3 days food water for live shiping but its still over night but incase there was a delay.
I had one names Aristotel once he was so cool he was old and I got him from the pet store he was an old breeder but he passed before I could breed him while in qoritine. Although the next time I get back up that way and he has any avalibla I can get one again.
He is just so cute he reminds me of a boxer. with the brindeling.

Newfoundland is not a big place and so alot of the more exotic animals or fancy mouse/rat colors are very hard to get here.I have NEVER came across brindle mice here. The pet store said they could ship them in for me,but I never actually made a "order".

Aww, he's so pretty. I just want to squeeze him and make squeaky noises at him! I suppose it's "brindle" but I thought he was calico, heh.

Thank you all. Eric is settling in nicely, comes out now and eats while i am sitting here, i can put my hand very close and he doesnt run. He is such a little sweetie.

The correct term for his colouring is fawn tiger brindle.

Sadly brindles are very prone to obesity and have somewhat shorter lifespan than many other colourings. His diet will be strict, though that will lessen the problem, brindles seem to get fat on air sometimes it seems. Its all in the genes. When i have the opportunity, i want to again get back into breeding them to try and limit this problem.

But regardless of the issues brindles have, they are generally the most laid back friendly mice i've had the pleasure of owning.

More pics will come

I raise gold brindles (what your boy is), and never had a problem with obesity. I also have fawn brindles (which is a gold brindle with red eye dilute, giving an orange animal with faint blue stripes), and those also do not get obese.
