Hamsters are very TERRITORIAL animals except when the hamster is a dwarf which means they would DEFEND their "home" (cages) against "INVADERS" (Mice). unless you would want to have a death match between the mice and hamsters, dont mix them in a single cage.

A proud "DAD" to:

A very sweet/loving and affectionate female iguana named LIZ

4 unnamed 12 yrs old turtles...

A Sweet Bassett hound - Labrador mix puppy named Ringo

Lizard owners are SWEET LOVERS...

Like aya said, NEVER mix rodents. Even the social rodents, like rats, mice and gerbils, are territorial, and will attack others that are not members of their clan, they will attack an animal of other species even faster.
