Need some ideas for blind rat

I have a gorgeous female albino rat called Imogen. The problem is that she is blind so won't go near most of her toys, has anyone got any ideas?

Love to hear from you
Laura

How do you know she is blind? Has she seen a vet recently? Most pink eyed rats tend to have vision problems, which is why most sway back and forth, as they need to focus on what they are looking at.

First make sure she is indeed blind. As far as toys, it's hard to give advice unless you state what type of toys she has in her cage. What types are you giving her? Most blind rats will still use their toys, so there is a chance that she just doesn't like them and has no interest in the type of toys she is being offered.

Theres much better ways for a blind rat to communicate with its toys since its hearing and smell highten.

Toys:
Get a bowl with room temperature water in it then put frozen peas init.
The sound of the water will help her.

Toys:
Get a carboard toilet tube. put a hole init then hang it with string/wool.
Put some treats in the tube she will be able to smell it

Ask me a question about rats.
I Know everything.

if I were you I would make home made toys or if you can get toys that have a smell to them, as a blind rat will benefit from this.
