Greetings all. I've been floating around the RMCA boards and whatnot for some years now and just found this one today. I'm a breeder - and a reputable one I hope - and have been raising pedigreed rats for pet and show for over a decade. I specialize in dumbos and rex self's - color varies wildly; all shades of blue, fawn, lilac, mink, russian silver, pearl, black, siamese, hairless, blaze, berkshire etc. I'll be adding dwarves and down under's to my lines in the next couple years. I've had rats in general since I was 9 years old.
Here's mah website if anyone wants a looksee.
Feel free to constructively criticize since I'm always looking to better myself as a breeder.
Just had a litter of true hairless dumbos born last week. I'm still on the ceiling about that - it never gets old!
Btw if anyone is interested I have two 4 month old rescue boys available for adoption: both seal point siamese topears. They were left at a Petco because 'the owner's new boyfriend hates rodents.'
They had mites and URI's when they landed in my hands but it was nothing my vet couldn't clear up. They recovered nicely and are now ready for forever homes for a $15 donation (for the pair. They are strongly bonded and I would rather not seperate them) that will go to the RMCA's Furry Friends Orphanage. I'm in Southern California, btw.
